FORMING CORPORATIONS

To expedite the incorporation of chiropractic corporations in West Virginia, please follow the guidelines listed below:

Contact the WV Secretary of State's office to clear the name of your corporation and inquire about their fee.  Their telephone number is (304) 558-8000.

All chiropractic corporation names must contain the word chiropractor, chiropractic physician, or DC.

 

bullet

All shareholders and owners of chiropractic corporation stock must be a chiropractic physician licensed in the State of WV. 

 

Chiropractors that intend to incorporate must submit their Articles of Incorporation, along with a $100 fee (made payable to WVBOC), to the Board for authorization prior to submission to the Secretary of State.  The Board will then forward the Articles, along with an approval letter, to the Secretary of State's office.
